Our first sight in Hawaii – the Honolulu Airport
Chris was a little hungry after the 9 hour flight…
those flowers were awesome and smelled really good
cute!
we ate dinner outside… I forget the name of the place now but it was pretty good
This was the creepiest thing I saw in Hawaii
This guy guarded the Lanai
Check out the plantation!
inside was just sweet ice cold coconut milk… quite good!
this was the view outside our room at night, I will never forget it
the moon was really bright that night
The second day we were there we went to the beach and snorkeled!!
note:All of the beach and under water photos were taken with our Olympus 850SW point and shoot. If you like taking photos at the beach or under water at all, I highly recommend purchasing a waterproof digital camera. The quality is SO MUCH BETTER than those throwaway film underwater cameras and you get to take unlimited photos with this!
We saw this guy from shore and I ran into the water with a quickness… AMAZING
I was pretty into the snorkeling and actually swam out to an off shore island that some of our group was kayaking out to and got there before they did!
This is a sea cucumber! (if anyone at a sushi place ever tries to tell you is a veggie, it is most certainly an animal)
Im guessing that this guy was eating something in the coral
we snorkel!
my5 year old niece said that I was being a mermaid in this photo
these photos are actually of the beach at turtle bay
getting a ride on a golf cart to a secret cove
our helpful driver
and another beach! this one was on the northshore
we saw lots of turtles here!
these are the last of the favorite underwater photos – taken on our last day in hawaii just a few hours before getting back on the plane
whats better than an underwater photo? an underwater MACRO photo!
Nice cold showers to get the salt and sand off before our 9 hour flight home
Next up: Hawaiian Adventures part 2 – Kualoa Ranch, Shinto Temple and Pali point
oh yeah…more prints i want!
you ROCK!
Monica and Chris,
