Why do bad things happen to good people

Yesterday my Uncle Dan and Aunt Rheta died in a plane crash.
To say that I am in shock would be an understatement… We loved travel to Austin Texas to visit. Here are some pics from my trip there in December of 2007. You can see just from the photos how happy they were. We visited them again in November of 2008, I actually have been meaning to post those photos, so that will be coming soon.
They were pretty much the most amazing and caring people ever. They were the kind of people that I aspire to be. They were full of love not just for each other but also for everyone else around them. Being around them just made us feel loved and happy. Here are a couple of photos from our trip to Texas in November:

Their family:

I took this photo of them after they got home from a gala one night:

We also got to hang out in Hawaii at the wedding:

This is one of my favorite photos of them from my trip to Austin in 2007:

They make me want to be a better person, they will be greatly missed.

    Dear Monica and Chris,
I will miss my brother,Dan and my sister-in-law, dearly. I can’t imagine what they went through moments before the crash. Dan and Rhetta were people who would sacrifice their own wants and needs to make others happy. They helped out with both my children’s weddings. For my daughter, Dan played his saxophone and for my son Rhetta coordinated all of the events, caterers, processional, etc. We love them both!! love, EJ

OMG… she was the one who helped coordinate the wedding. This is horrible. So young. So full of life.
