Petina & Nate’s engagement session revisited

Its been a slow news month here. This weather just wont let up! Its been spring for a couple of weeks now but it still feels SO much like winter! We got snow last night(its pretty much all melted now of course) and there is a chance of more still today and tomorrow!! I really hope that we start seeing some nice weather soon!
Also I have been battling this nasty cold… Chris had it first and it took him a week, I am on day 4 and it has been miserable! I havent had a cold in quite some time and hopefully wont have another one for awhile after this. I have been pumping myself full of tea and vitamins and I am starting to feel a little better today… Ive read on facebook that friends all over the country are battling this nasty bug as well right now so I hope we all recover asap!

SO since I don’t have any new photos to post at the moment, I am going to revisit some events that happened last year that didn’t really get the attention they deserved because I was ridiculously busy at some points last year.

First up is Petina & Nate, I shot their engagement session May 21, 2008 in Chicago at Promontory Point, which is near the Museum of Science and Industry. They are getting married May 23 in JAMAICA! They are really beautiful people inside and out and I consider myself blessed to know them… On to the photos!

I really love Chicago and the faint outline of the city in the background of this shot.

The Hall on Promontory point is available for weddings! (and looks kind of like a castle!!)

This one is one of my Favorites!

I shot these right before we got into our cars, I saw the light and just had to get a couple more shots…
