FINALLLLLLY SOME NEW WORK TO POST!!!
It seems like this has been the longest winter and latest spring ever. There are parts of the country already picking strawberries, and we haven’t even passed our last frost warning(which is May 15)here in Northwest Indiana!!! To say that I have been dying for some good comfortable weather to shoot in would be an understatement.
We took Beth & Joel out in the country to the rolling hills of Southwest Michigan for this special shoot. I have had a vision in my head for the last month or so of shooting an engagement session under pink blossoms in an orchard. I searched high and low, it was my top secret project, I searched the internet and then scouted the location last Sunday and started getting REALLY excited! Its so funny how many orchards and fruit farms there are suddenly when you cross that invisible line into Michigan. It’s almost a completely different world! Originally I thought I was looking for some cherry blossoms, but then I learned about peach blossoms! They have an amazing pink blossom that was exactly what I saw in my head!
We lucked out with the weather too, on Tuesday it was 45 degrees and we had to postpone another engagement session. But yesterday it was quite comfortable, overcast but lovely. We had a great time with these two, we were like kids in a candy store shooting them!!! Seriously, they were amazing! Just see for yourself:
