Our last day in Las Vegas we checked out of our hotel and drove out to Red Rock.
I have a thing for the desert and my heart danced surrounded by cactus, yucca and rock.
I am posting a whole bunch of photos here, I just could not narrow them down!
The little holes on this rock are caused by iron that comes together and then falls off in balls, the balls are called indian marbles!
these plants might look soft, but the flowers are quite dry now. 
I had never seen a desert mountain spring before.
Again I have an almost sick obsession with cactus
