2008 in review and looking ahead to exciting events in 2009!

Not yet even a week into 2009 and its feeling awesome! I wanted to review the year and highlight some of the awesome events that happened in 2008.

second shot 5 weddings
traveled 11 times to places such as Dayton OH, South Carolina, Las Vegas, New Jersey, New York City, Pittsburgh, Ausitn TX, MEXICO, and HAWAII!

February I went with my parents to South Carolina to see and photograph my little brother graduating from boot camp.
March I flew to Vegas for WPPI where I learned a TON and had a blast hanging out with some of the best photographers in the world.
April I drove out to New Jersey to hang out with friends, second shoot a wedding in Brooklyn with my good friend Laura, and Stefanie & Joe’s Engagement session.
May I flew to Pittsburgh to shoot 2 back to back weddings for my good friend Jenni
June I was swamped with weddings! in a 15 day period I had 5 weddings!
July I finally had a weekend without a wedding, but did a few family sessions at the beach instead!
August I had one weekend without a wedding and didnt do anything!
September we were back to NJ for Stefanie & Joe’s wedding, and did a bridal show
October I was back to Pittsburgh for another wedding with Jenni
November was almost entirely travel, dayton ohio, then Austin TX, then Mexico!
December was the fantastic week in HAWAII! (I have yet to finish posting photos from the last 2 months it was so awesome!)

Overall 2008 was a pretty sweet year!

Exciting things I am looking forward to in 2009!
– Bridal Expo(which happened already on Sunday the 4th)
– Shooting 2 weddings and a Day After session in New York with Laura Ryan this weekend
– Las Vegas for WPPI Feb 15-19
– I will be a GUEST at 2 weddings this year! YAY
– A week in Jamaica for 2 weddings and a couple days of vacay for our 3rd wedding anniversary in May
– Pittsburgh wedding in July
– Virginia Beach wedding in August
– Boston wedding in September

Thats just the exciting events SO FAR… I cant even wait to see what else this year has in store for us!
