Holly & Josh in Chicago

This was a really fun session for us, for several reasons:
#1 I have known Holly since she was a tiny little thing, she played t ball with my little brother waaaay back in the day.
#2 She is a wedding photographer now! So we have fun talking about cameras and all that(you can see her site here)
#3 They also have a puggle!
#4 I love these two!

Now Holly and Josh are already married but they wanted some new photos of themselves. Holly called it a ‘lovers session’ since it is not an engagement session! LOVE IT!
When I asked if she had any places in mind she mentioned “some castle looking place in Chicago” I was pretty sure she was talking about the water tower. So we got down there and just walked all around the water tower area. It was super fun, not horribly cold, though we were all cold at the end at least we weren’t soggy as well!

PS, if you are interested in doing a session while it is still coats and scarves weather please get in touch with me soon! It will be shorts weather again before we know it(I am an optimist!)

We went INSIDE the christmas tree at the Hancock building for this shot!

These next photos were taken by Chris! He will have some more of his favorites on his blog soon!

These images are FANTASTIC, Monica. I have followed your work on myspace for a long time and admire your it so much. The spontaneity and brilliant energy in ALL of your images absolutely blow me away! If I ever decide to do something silly, like get married, 🙂 you will be my first call (probably even before my mother :D)
