Today is my birthday so Chris said I am not allowed to work, but I really wanted to get the slideshow from Patty and Al’s wedding blogged. They were married December 6, at the Ka’a’awa plantation on Oahu, Hawaii!
This was our first(but certainly not last)trip to Hawaii, we were pretty much in heaven the whole time and there will be several more posts coming from our week in paradise.
This wedding was planned with the utmost care and the details were fantastic! See for yourself:

It is also worth mentioning, that if you have been watching my site for awhile you may remember Becca and Wendy, I shot Wendys wedding in August of 2006 and Beccas wedding in July of 07! I just checked and my blog doesn’t go that far back, but you have probably seen Wendys Wedding album if you have ever had a meeting with me!
This was a very special sand ceremony! They took sand from the beach of Lake Michigan where they first said that they liked each other! Now before you say “how old were they, 15?” They were 15!
The other sand is from the beach in Hawaii where Al proposed 13 years(to the day) later!

All of the parents gave a few words during the ceremony, this was when Al’s Mom showed a few cute photos of him as a child!
