Raw/Live foods

Inspired by a few people including Scarlet Lillian, I have decided to go RAW this week! I will be taking it an additional step and trying to do as much as possible fresh and juiced. As many of you know, I am vegan, so I already dont eat meat or dairy or eggs. So you may be wondering “WHAT WILL YOU EAT?!” I will probably only do just fruit and vegetable juice for the first 2 or 3 days(juice cleanse), then for the rest of the week do smoothies with the whole food. I have a juicer that I will use to make lots of mixtures, here are the fruits and veggies I picked up at the store today:

oriental kale, grapes, strawberries, beets, ginger root, avocado and apples!

banana, cantaloupe, spinach, oriental kale, strawberries, apple

i forgot to put the carrots in… oops! I have a big bag of carrots also

this was an amazingly good strawberry!

The right combinations of fruits and veggies can be quite tasty and incredibly healthy!

For my first juice tonight, I used 4 pieces of kale, 3 beet greens, 3 carrots, 1 strawberry, 1 stalk of celery and 1 apple. It was not the prettiest thing, and I dont reccomend smelling it. But it tasted pretty good! I will probably have to do this 5 times a day at least, but I feel amazing!

    That’s so awesome girl! Glad I could help inspire you! Let me know how it goes for you. I was doing good but splurged over the weekend when I went out of town, and now I’m totally paying for it. So just remember, if you get weak after a few days, it’s just not worth the splurge, keep going strong!
